Want to know more about the folks who call Enova home? We asked Enova’s Senior Software Test Engineer Preeti Dhiman our five favorite “get to know you better” questions, and here’s what she had to say:
How did you come to work at Enova?
I was in Los Angeles and never actually thought I would move away from there. My family moved to San Diego, but I declined to move with them. I loved being in LA — the weather, the food and Hollywood are all pretty awesome. But then I got married, my husband had to move to Chicago for work, and I followed him. I’m glad I interviewed at Enova almost two years ago. I was very impressed by Enova then and I’m very proud to be working here today.
What do you do at Enova?
I’m a Senior Software Test Engineer currently working on a team focused on a new product launch. My main focus is to make sure that the product goes out bug-free to our customers. I spend a lot of time writing automated tests, which cover positive and negative scenarios to verify new and existing functionality. I closely work with product managers and project managers to write requirements in a form that is business-readable, so that we have 100% test coverage.
What’s the best part of working at Enova?
It’s definitely the people here. Enova has the best talent I have ever seen in a company. Everyone I have worked with is brilliant, helpful, passionate and very enthusiastic to build new stuff every day. It keeps me motivated to learn and grow more. Apart from all that, there is plenty of other stuff to like, for instance the free breakfast every Monday, along with the monthly perks. I just love the culture here.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Malibu, CA in a house facing the ocean. I dream of waking up every day to the morning breeze of the ocean.
What are your top three desert island must-haves?
- My music collection/sudoku
- A blanket
- LOTS of food
