We all know what a challenge it can be to make and keep your New Year’s resolutions. The first few days or weeks may be filled with healthy choices and visits to the gym, but the routine eventually gets tiring and we often fall back into our bad habits. That is unless you happen to be an employee at Enova.

It’s no secret that Enova offers its employees some of the best perks around, from Monday-morning breakfasts to Wrigley Field day trips. With an understanding that well-being starts with a healthy mind and body, many of these Enova perks are ideal for employees working to get fit in the new year. “We try and offer a lot of fun options for Enova employees,” says Lauren Ratcliff, coordinator of the Enova perks program. “And yes, many of them are geared toward employees taking care of themselves and their bodies, if for no other reason than a healthy employee is far more likely to be a happy employee.”

While Enova perks aren’t limited to diet and fitness freebies, there’s no shortage of great offers for those with health in mind. Onsite yoga, a bounty of low-calorie snacks, and Enova-sponsored access to Weight Watchers make it easy to stick with resolutions in the office, while discounts on a variety of Chicago gyms allow employees to spend less and work out more. “Having yoga classes in the building is huge,” according to Enova product manager George Savvas. “We all say we’ll go to the gym before or after work, but getting a decent workout is a just easier when you can do it at the office.”

These health-first perks — along with events like 2013’s Enova Steps, wherein teams competed for prizes to get the most steps over the course of a month — speak volumes about the Enova spirit and the type of environment the company is working to create. Says Ratcliff, “We feel like it’s a pretty basic equation when you’re talking about keeping employees happy: Take care of them and they will take care of you.”
